Danna Center Renovations

Kell Muñoz Architects designed the new Student Center renovations for Loyola University New Orleans, a co-educational Jesuit University in Louisiana. The design embodied a symbolic re-birth and positive step forward for the University following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Kell Muñoz Architects made use of vibrant color and imagery to celebrate the history and culture of New Orleans. The renovations will update and enhance the student center's overall appearance and increased its comfort to accommodate the student's needs, while embracing the modern nature of the existing building. Elements of the existing building's facade were also reused in different applications to create new amenities for the students, which signaled further positive changes on the re-emerging campus.
