Life & Health Sciences Building

The Life & Health Sciences Building supports the Allied Health and Nursing Departments of the College of Health Sciences and the Biology Department of the College of Science and Math. The building incorporates many architectural details from the campus' historic buildings: brick walls and dentils, segmented arches, gabled metal roofs, colonnades, loggias, and cast stone lintels. To enhance the warm and inviting environment of the facility, the Firm designed the Life & Health Sciences Building as a village-like complex of small buildings.

The Nursing Department and Allied Health areas include general classrooms and lecture spaces, a Dean's suite and associated faculty offices. Some of the specialized teaching areas include simulation of real-life interaction for Nursing: VN, ADN, MSN, BSN and Allied Health: EMT, Medical Lab Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology and Health services Technology.
